Here are some additional pics from the 1976 XR75. A lot of people have been asking about the pipe and air cleaner box/boot. I know a restorable XR75 exhaust is hard to find. The main reason why I bought the 76 XR was because it has a solid restorable pipe. The mounting bracket is intact.
The rear rim on the 76 XR is complete. No cracks or broken spokes that I could see. Only surface rust.
The air cleaner boot looks top notch.
The pic of the broken ignition switch is from the 1974XR75...bummer.
Both tanks have internal rust but are definitely restorable.
Both bikes have lots of good parts on them.
